There's still a possibility of keeping it. Heck, I may just restore it and not get a 5th gen at all. I've gone back and forth on it several times...

These were posted elsewhere, so I'm just putting my favorites here.

What I didn't say elsewhere is that I avoided photographing the driver's side because it was covered in bird poop. Had I cleaned the car well, I would have taken more pics.

In other 4th gen news, I found a wrecked 94 VTEC at a local junkyard that's kind of out of the way. The roof and trunk were smashed in pretty badly, but most of the VTEC-exclusive interior pieces were still present (except for the seats, of course). I got the dome light and plan to go back Saturday for the center console and gauge cluster.

Without a doubt, this was the most disgusting part extraction I've ever done. The BB1 was like a swamp inside. Grass was growing in the driver's side footwell, while the passenger's side (and sadly, the P13 still present there) was underwater. Because of that, I took only the arm rest from the console. The cluster is still in good shape, just a little dirty/moldy. 3 hours later, I haz partz. I'll be selling my H23 EL cluster on PZ soon and add the leather arm rest to my 94-96 console after I refurbish it some, and sell that eventually.

Washed the car last night. Already had pollen and bird poop on it this morning.

I hate washing vehicles because I always get so mad when something gets them dirty.

My brother and I plan to tackle the EL cluster installation this week. If it doesn't work I'm going to try and find a 93 VTEC/SRV cluster, just because I want to have an H22 cluster for when I put a VTEC motor in the car (God willing).

Speaking of which, I think I've decided on my setup:
Bluetop H23 (as suggested by D...I wanted to do a wild F20B build but thinking about it I'm pretty sure it'd never get done)
F22 tranny already in the car
Vibrant header (owned already)
Chipped P28/P72 ECU (have virgins of each, as discussed in my tuning thread)
Not sure about exhaust yet but I want to use the muffler on the car now. I really like the way it sounds.
This is all a couple years away, because I want to get a newer daily first. The 91 is officially off the road, unfortunately.

sounds like a plan.  we can help you piece together a custom exhaust setup.  as long as you have someone that can weld stainless steel piping for you Smiley

Installed the EL cluster today.

It took me about 4 hours. Dad helped me some and my brother helped me put it back together. It's not perfect but it works fine. The only issue is when I turn on the turn signal, both blinkers on the cluster flash at half brightness, but the signals still work properly. I also lost my fog wiring due to the different harness, but one of my fogs was out anyway. Might have to get that rewired before next inspection...

Current to-do list:
-rewire fogs. Currently have no harness due to the EL cluster installation. I'm probably going to take the main harness apart and get the fog wires isolated by themselves. After that I'm going to have to get creative, or just cut them into the parking lights and just keep the fog switch in the car as is. And after that, I need to figure out why the right fog was out before the harness was removed. It's either the plug or a bad bulb, but no way to tell right now.
-94-96 console install. Waiting for pics to reappear on PZ so I know what length to cut some of these things.
-install rear mud guards.

^^^ still have to do all that stuff  Roll Eyes

I finally have motivation to work on this car again, even though the SH is going to take most of my time for the next several months. I'm in the process of Plasti-Dipping my spare set of rims (to be my summer wheels), and I'm now making long-term plans for the car. OBD1 H22 swap, with a new paint job. I'm thinking BG23M, a.k.a. Brittany Blue-Green Metallic, which was used on 92-93 models only.

Yeah, I think I'm going to nickname the car Brittany. Matches the paint color and personality. :foreveralone:

I just discovered my 94-96 console has broken mounts, both outside and where the cup holder sits, so I'm parting it out. The cup holder is really the only thing people would want. You can still get them new from Honda, so I'm charging ~$60 shipped or $50 cash for it.
