prepare for a long winter with no daily.

I don't wanna hear your crap. Tongue That's a pretty healthy list, you really need to get those shocks in and on.

Unfortunately, whichever shocks I end up with - won't work for anything besides cf due to needing less pressure.

But I really am sick of having to hold both my trunk and hood open... or swapping around hood props etc :/

Maybe i'll get a new daily.  Insurance shouldn't be bad at this point Tongue

update;

Rear caliper was giving me issues when i changed the pads and rotors nearly 2 years ago, well it finally decided to go.

Ordered a re-manned caliper from Honda.  Now I need to order new rear pads.  Which means I "should" order new rear rotors.... despite my current have somewhere around 15-20k on them.  Front rotors and pads have roughly 35k and going - but show more than half the pad life still.

Since pads come in pairs, and i've already got one rebuilt caliper, guess I should just order the other and have both fresh with pads - and another setback with rotors occurs!

Besides that - the compustar has been giving me nothing but issues for a while now and finally bit the dust.  So i'll be needing to trace everything out and remove the unit followed by installing a better one.  - another setback.

Looking at some $600 in setbacks thus far before a tune.  - still need to remove and send out the front shocks for a rebuild as well.

Tint will be removed and inspection is due, so bit of a pickle right now with the car immobile.

Clutch pedal is scary soft despite it fully engages and disengages the slave cylinder.  There is no force pushing back - it just goes smoothly which I don't feel is right vs how it once engaged.  Mark up another master cylinder for the setback list - i have what appears to be a leak!

I have a set of 18's for the car now.  One needs to be repaired, the other 3 have some minor stone chips or small damage from improper tire mounting...   either way 2 need new tires and the one wheel that has damage has a good tire that needs to come off.  Undecided if I want to get all 4 new or not.

If i had a place indoors to properly strip the car down and do all the work i'd like done, this would be done PROPERLY by summer.  Without me wanting to re-do anything afterwards... otherwise piecing it together little at a time and doing maintenance has caused many setbacks.  Some of which i've not mentioned here yet.

Balljoints and front wheel bearings have yet to be touched on this car.  It's on the list of "eventually".    Need to do another compression test as well.  Smoke bothers me.

Happy New Year everyone!

New checklist:

remove tint
install rear rotors/pads
paint new calipers
install calipers
install ES bushings
send coilovers out for rebuild
repair wheels
purchase (2) new tires
alignment
paint hood and trunk
inspection
new master and slave cylinder

eventually get a tune...

I'd like to get at least that much done by the first of May.

Sidetracked.

Ordered a bunch of hardware.

caliper is waiting to be painted.

For those wondering - failed inspection 6 times.  7th time they got tired of the car basically lifting off in the rear from the front brakes catching so hard and just pushed me through...

I see tint removal on your list. In my mind it was size 18 font/bold.

Why tint removal?

I ask because I'm considering mild tint to the 97 rear windows.

Here, we're not allowed tint on the windshield, or front two windows unless we have the proper form filled out for a permit.

Many people just tint their windows and remove it for inspection, or have a doctor forge a permit form for DMV consideration.  - I can legally have mine tinted, but haven't bothered getting the permit....

Misc. hardware will arive Monday.  Fuel line parts and bypass will arrive thursday.  With some luck, i'll get the other caliper at least painted this week while it's in the 50's....

In Va we can tint some. Not limo dark but some. My mechanic told me but I didn't commit it to memory.

Trouble is several items I was contemplating are exactly what Elspectro wants to do to his car.
No tint for me.

Anyway, your masterpeice just keeps getting better n better.

There's always something different to do.  I've changed the way my car looks multiple times already.

stock
red fender washers
gold fender washers
black fender washers
burnt fender washers

ADR wheels
stock wheels
current wheels waiting to get fixed and tossed on

stock hood
carbon fiber hood
with and without hoodpins
next up will be semi painted hood/trunk

stock front seats
corbeau front seats

sub enclosure back seat
no back seat w/ blockoffs
stock back seat

spoiler and no spoiler

red calipers
gold calipers
blue calipers

35% tint
25% tint
no tint

I can keep going... options are only as limited as you want them to be.

Half of my ARP hardware arrived today.  As well as a bypass...

Remainder of the hardware should arrive monday, and tracking says fuel line parts will still arrive tomorrow.

Apparently I forgot to order one set of ARP hardware.  Already forgot the size/measurements so I'll have to dig up the bolt again and figure it out.  Probably won't order them for awhile now since I don't feel like paying the shipping twice so soon.
