Is there anything plug 'n play or close to it that can keep my turns from blinking like they're on crack? At first I thought it was amusing because people would GTFO of my way really fast, but I also noticed some people don't seem to even perceive them and that's getting old.

I found a flasher relay for LED turns. We have to change the rear turns to LED's and I think the ones on the gauge cluster as well. I have to look at the stock flasher relay to see if the one I found will fit. otherwise we just have to install those inline resistors... I'd rather do the relay honestly, no wire splicing 3rd product down. http://www.wardenjp.com/stores/accessory.html

Yeah, I figured. I mostly posted this because I'm curious about Nee's opinion so I can make sure I do it right the first time...and not tear s**t up. I'm bad enough with electrical things as it is, don't want to have to do it twice.

I figured you wanted her advice, but I wanted to post up so if she agrees with me I feel smarter

hahaha...ya'all are funny.... yes, the BEST way to do this is to get what they call an electronic or "Digital" flasher relay. It does not count on the resistance it senses to regulate the flashing like the older ones do. so see.. you are both incredibly smart.

I would assume both front and rear turn signals would have to be replaced with LED's if the flasher relay is changed.. eh?

http://www.youtube.com/v/tcGQpjCztgA&rel=1Thanks, Renee. I would assume both front and rear turn signals would have to be replaced with LED's if the flasher relay is changed.. eh? I guess it wouldn't matter too much based on what she said. I need to get LEDs for the rest of my shizzle either way.

you are correct again sir.. it would not and does not matter since the rate of the flash is not now determined by the resistance of the lights themselves.

Been a zillion years but I guess I need to pick one of these up just in case for inspection since car's almost ready. Anyone have a recommendation on what and where to buy?

need a set of bulbs for the rear turns and this flasher relay. should pick up an extra set of bulbs in case one or more burns out........... since the whole turn signal circuit will be modified. I'll find the stuff and link you to it
