in japan once a car reaches a certain age or milage, they are forced to junk them.  that's why the JDM parts are so plentiful on ebay.

yes it is and alot of the jdm parts that are in my car came from jdm cars just like this! its a sad sad site indeed!

I had a chance to buy a rear windshield w/ the wiper, motor, wiring harness and control and I passed on it.     As much as I like the idea of having something that rare, it's not a clean enough look for me.

i know how you feel i have the window visors for my legend coupe and i dont plan to use them but i also collect rare jdm items as well!

Yea you dont have to ask you can use my pics anytime for your post or threads i dont mind at all. You point the key at the door and push a button on the key and it will pop the door lock up for you there should be a set up for the trunk as well.

so basically this is an auto open door lock/trunk lock for vehicles without the security system?

I have an OEM security system in my lude and I can open all the doors and trunk with a alarm remote fob.
